  • Condition: In really nice condition for its age. Each cherry blossom scene is hand painted, so slight variations in size and placement of flowers, etc. Gold paint is lovely. I don't see any paint missing. Lacquer is in great condition; looks like never used. Larger bowl's paper label probably saying Made in Japan has worn off. Note: one flea bite size area on larger bowl is missing lacquer but believe came this way (bottom of inside bowl). Sorry about reflections from shiny lacquer paint.     Description

    For your consideration a gorgeous six (6) piece vintage could be antique wooden bowl set from long ago.  There are five (5) small bowls and one large bowl.  All hand painted with a gold background surrounded by lacquer.
    At first glance, the flower patterns all look identical but upon inspection, one can tell each was painstakingly created.  Just gorgeous!  Rare set.
    If you love ornate Japanese or Asian collectibles of high quality and rarity, these are a great set to add to your collection.
    Dimensions:  see photos (note:  each small bowl is almost 2 1/2" round and almost 1" tall while the larger bowl is around 5 1/2" round and 2 1/4" tall)
    Weight:  11 grams for each small bowl and 134 grams for the large one
