Vintage Meissen Porcelain Floral & Gilding Cup & Saucer Porzellan Tasse German

Description

For sale is
a nice cup and saucer made by Meissen in the 20th century . A nice modern twist on an 18th century shape with the gold trim around the center instead of the edge. The rim of each piece has a basket weave design to the paste and the center of the saucer as well as the front of the cup has a nice floral arrangement hand painted on it including a superb tulip. The set is in perfect condition. The saucer is 1 inch tall and has a diameter of 4.75 inches. The cup is 1.625 inches tall and has a diameter of 2.75 inches. Both are marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords as well as the usual impressed numbers / letters common to Meissen pieces of this period and some red numbers as well.
