    Beautiful Made in Japan porcelain set of long boat-shape bowl dish
    11.25" long x 5" wide
    . Hand painted scene of volcano, peaceful lake with pagoda in the background, and couple in boat in the foreground, trees with new blooms, lovely colors also of pinks and greens, mauve and light blue. Comes with matching
    3.5" x 2.25" small dishes - 6 in all-
    for a spoon/chopstick rest? For individual sushi? Sauce maybe? Something that goes with the long dish.  Really a beautiful set. All marked Made in Japan. Some slight rim wear, otherwise very good.
