    Description

    An endearing scene of sages in a garden, this hand painted porcelain dish is clad with pewter. It is a lovely example of Chinoiserie from the 1950's. This vintage dish is decorated in enamel over smooth china and was made in Hong Kong. A unique find for any collector.
    Vintage Japanese porcelain ware bowl hand-painted in Hong Kong with pewter encased exterior which extends to form the bowl's top rim. The hearts around the rim are embossed-you can feel the relief with your fingers.There are 2 indentations for either chop sticks or cigarettes maybe. Uncle was an Asian art dealer and this was among his collection.
