The T-M1 can provide at least three showers’ worth of water simultaneously along with one appliance at input temperatures of 60ºF or greater.
At 235,000 BTU per hour, the Mobius T-M1 is Takagi’s largest model, with an average efficiency of 82% with natural gas and 85% with propane. At a ∆T of 60ºF in warmer areas – for example, where the winter ground water is 60ºF and with the output set at 122ºF – the unit will provide a 6.4 GPM, or 384 GPH.
In colder areas where the input temperature may be 40ºF or less, expect a flow rate about 4.5 GPM, or 270 GPH.
The Mobius T-M1 is built to last in even the most rugged on environments, whether installed inside or outdoors. Like all of Takagi’s heaters, the unit features all copper and brass waterways, stainless steel burners and epoxy-powder coatings to resist rust and corrosion. Yet the high compact Mobius weighs in at a trim 70 pounds and occupies only a little more than two cubic feet of space. In short, the T-M1 packs a powerful punch in a comparatively small package.
