FREDERICK WELLER, DUANE BOUTTE, BRUCE MACVITTIE, BRENDAN CORBALIS, etc. It is a British-American historical drama directed by NIGEL FINCH, his final film before his AIDS-related death shortly after filming ended.
    Inspired by the memoir of the same title by openly gay historian MARTIN DUBERMAN.
    It won the Audience Award at London Film Festival. The Audience Award for Best Feature at the San Francisco International Lesbian & Gay Film Festival. The Grand Jury Prize Honorable Mention at Outfest as well as Outstanding Screenplay.
