Direct from the mine in Erving, Massachusetts, a fine Red Embers garnet in graphite specimen. As seen in Mineralogical Record and Rocks and Minerals magazines, these awesome garnet specimens are a must for any collection. These specimens have been meticulously air abraded to expose the transparent almandine garnets from the graphite matrix. When backlit these specimens glow a beautiful crimson red color.
