    Description

For your consideration is this nice specimen of rich silver ore featuring reddish-black pyrargyrite in a matrix of massive marcasite, pyrite, chalcopyrite, and minor tetrahedrite and acanthite from the Bulldog Mountain mine, Creede, Mineral County Colorado USA.
This is a good large example of a very unusual high-grade silver ore assemblage from a classic Colorado locality, collected by miner Daniel Aldrich Sr. in the mid 1970's. Cut one one side as seen. The rough side has several nice small pyragyrite crystals in vugs. Rare!
    Specimen Dimensions: 7.5 x 7.1 x 1.6 cm. Weight: 192 grams
