    40 folding engraved plates
(numbered 1- 40.) Number 13 bears the name of the engraver “Oder”). Treaty of military maneuvers, ed. on the order of Minister Narbonne, indicating the various alignments and positions, their movements and maneuvers on the ground; illustrated with many clearly explained diagrams on facing pages. In total 83pp.
The second volume contains text on military maneuvers with 399 pages in French. Condition : Bound in what appears to be original half leather / tan paper boards.  Both volumes are quite sound and bound tightly. The spine is in very good condition. Both volumes show red fore edge papers leaves, Internally pages in good order a as the plates as well. I do not see any major tears to the plates mostly folds some edge wear, with very little spotting, and almost no foxing. Written on the title page is a signature in French from the period.
