Meissen Hand Painted Scattered Flowers & Gold Miniature Double Gourd Vase
Antique porcelain double gourd shaped miniature vase. Decorated with hand painted scattered flowers in purple, pink, yellow, orange, and blue. With gold gilding around the center of the vase and around the rim. Marked on the bottom with a blue crossed sword mark used by Meissen between 1860 and 1924.
Has some wear to the gilding, a small hairline crack extending off the opening with associated chip, and appears to have been filed down on the opposite side to hide a small chip. The opening has been regilded.
Measures approximately 1 3/4 inches wide x 3 1/2 inches tall.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
