Meissen Hand Painted Apples Cherries Floral & Gold Tea Cup & Saucer C. 1860-1924
Pretty porcelain tea cup and saucer. Decorated with hand painted apples,  cherries, strawberries, and small red berries. Also has pink, white, blue, pink and orange flowers. With gold gilding along the edge and gold gilt highlights to the handle. Marked on the bottom with the underglaze blue crossed swords mark used by the
royal
Meissen factory between 1860 and 1924.
Has some minor wear to the gilding, but otherwise excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
The cup measures approximately 4 1/2 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/8 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 6 inches wide.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
