This is the next of a large collection of autographed baseballs signed by baseball players and politicians that we’re listing. All balls came from a single Washington D.C. area collector who obtained the signatures himself over the course of many years. He liked to ask politicians to sign baseballs instead of pieces of paper because doing so got their attention. Bunning signed this ball at the U.S. Capitol. Bunning is the only person ever elected to both the Baseball Hall of Fame and the U.S. Senate.
