    Description

    Japanese Porcelain Ware hand painted in Hong Kong for Gump's 5 1/3" outside measurement bowl. It is 3" in height.
    This is a weighty bowl well made in Japan, and then painted in Hong Kong.  I've seen this pattern on differently shaped bowls and some plates, but haven't seen another of this particular shape.  The painting is gorgeous with a substantial amount of gold paint on both the inside and outside of the bowl. There is one small spot of wear on the rim, but I'm finding no others.
    Really a perfect bowl for a nice homemade soup, and it truly is a pleasure to handle and gaze at this beautiful piece of work.
    It's hand washable, I would not put this in a dishwasher. Someone else may know differently.  I do not believe this is vintage, but do not have a possible date range.
