    Description

    Item:
    Antique Historical Account Book
    Description:
WOW!!  What an impressive book this is!!!  For Sale is a
    1857 Hardcover First Edition
Historical Account of the First Settlers of New England.  The Book is titled
"HISTORY OF KING PHILIP - Sovereign Chief Of The Wampanoags".
It was written by John S.C. Abbott and has incredibly beautiful engraving illustrations.  The book is 6.5" Tall and has 410 Text Pages and some extra advertising pages in rear of book.   I am sure my photos will best further describe this item.
    Condition:
On a scale of 1 - 10 (Ten being New in Package Only), I can confidently grade this item's condition to be a
    solid 6.5 at least.
Overall and Especially for being 150+ Years Old, this Historical Book is in
    Very Good
Condition.  Taking into account exterior/interior book is
    No Less than 80% Immaculate.
There are some age stains which are sporadic but nothing extreme.  By far, at least 85% of the interior pages are at least 90% pristine.  The pages are still quite secure to the binding and the paper is not brittle but still has to be treated with respect for its age.  When cover is opened, you can see some separation between binding and pages but its more visual than a real threat at this point.  Other than some of the first blank and last blank pages, there are
Absolutely Zero Torn Interior Pages/Creased/Missing Pages.
The Exterior Cover coloring is probably faded compared to 150 years ago and so is the title on the spine. Notice in my photo, there is some very old original owners handwriting declaring ownership of the book.  Surely written by a old fountain calligraphy pen (
    Photo#3
).  My photos are an accurate depiction of this item's
    TRUE
    Condition.
