Green Quartz crystal cluster with attached green druse from China (235 grms)

Description

Specimen Description: Quartz crystal cluster with an encrustation of subhedral tiny quartz crystals. All of them colored green. The druse circles about 7/8's of the larger quartz's except the tips. LOCATION: Sichuan province China. LUSTER; Vitreous at the cluster tips, sparkling on the druse. Specimen size; Medium Cabinet. CLARITY: Mostly opaque, with the quartz tips, translucent. TREATMENTS: Soap and water wash only. MATRIX ATTACHED: A very thin layer of the attached wall rock  on the bottom (See pictures 8 & 9 face on view). INCLUSIONS: Probably some chlorite in the larger quartz crystals. COLORS: Mostly various shades of green, with some brownish yellow limonite attached here and there. FRACTURES: Several of the quartz crystals look like they were snapped off. OR the growth processes stopped on those crystals.  Quartz tip terminations: INCOMPLETE and very etched.
