    Up for auction is this fine old Japanese brown glazed art pottery vase signed on the bottom with an impress artist mark reading 熙 or “HIRO” - I am not familiar with this mark or artist. I know Ijiki Hiro is a famous potter but I do not know if this is his mark.
    High quality piece which reminds me of Iga vases by Sawada Hiroyuki and other master Japanese potters. Very heavy clay and this piece weighs over 3 lbs by itself.
    Measures 8.25” inches tall, 4” inches long and 3.25” inches wide.
    Would make a fantastic display piece, fine addition to a collection, or a great gift!
