EZ101 Water Heater by EZ Tankless
The EZ101 is a portable water heater designed to supply the user with a hot shower anywhere. It uses two D-cell batteries (not included) to power the electronic ignition and propane as its fuel source. It was designed for hot showers, but because of its portability we have seen the EZ101 used in countless applications including Food Trucks, Garages and Barns, RV's and Trailers, Butcher Shops, Mobile Dog Groomers, and the list goes on.
The EZ101 averages 1.6 gallons per minute but can produce up to 2 gallons per minute. It will operate with low water pressure including gravity fed water systems. We do recommend having at least 10psi in water pressure entering the unit to ensure it will kick on. A showerhead and 5ft hose are supplied with the unit (as pictured above), but is not required to be used with the unit. It can be plumbed in using PEX, garden hose (high temp suitable), or Copper.
The EZ101 is designed to be used outdoors, but it can be used indoors if the room or structure that the unit is being installed in is large enough. Being that the EZ101 can use 42,000btu/hr, it requires quite a bit of intake air. If it?s installed in an enclosed area, it needs at least 2,000 cubic feet (length x width x height) of unconfined airspace to ensure it will receive enough intake air. If the ideal room is smaller than that, but the rest of the home/structure is equal to or greater than 2,000 cubic feet, then a 12? x 8? vent in the door exposed to rest of the home/structure will be required.
