The EZ Deluxe is a whole home water heater designed for the typical household of 1-2 bathrooms. Averaging between 2.5 - 3.5 gallons per minute, the Deluxe supplies more than enough hot water to run any one hot water tap at a time, and in some cases two. We've found through talking with our customers over the years that in the average home we rarely use more than one hot water tap at a time. And that is exactly what the EZ Deluxe was designed for.
The EZ Deluxe is also a self regulating water heater, meaning the unit automatically adjusts the burners according to the water flow to ensure the desired temperature is reached at your tap. For instance, the average sink tap runs about 1 gallon per minute while the average shower head runs about 1.7 - 2 gallons per minute. You'll often see tankless units that are manually adjusted being advertised as household water heaters. We do not recommend manually adjusted tankless units for home installations because they do not take into account the water flow being passed through them. This causes waste, inconsistent temperatures, and frustration. With the EZ Deluxe you simply set the temperature on the screen and the unit does the rest of the work for you!
