Khoroshiv Raion (Volodarsk-Volynskii), Zhytomyr Oblast, Ukraine. Dimensions:
4.5 x 2.1 x 1.9cm, miniature, and a mass of 23.77 grams. This is a gorgeous, totally gem and super lustrous Ukrainian Heliodor miniature with a beautiful golden green-yellow color. This crystal is moderately etched with aesthetic and intricate geometric patterns all around and is doubly terminated which is unusual. It is also unusual in the fact that crystals in the miniature size from these Ukrainian pegmatites are rare as most of them are from small cabinet to cabinet size. Ukrainian Heliodors are considered to set the standard for this Beryl varietal and they look stunning in a display case with their rich green-yellow color, brilliant luster and gemminess.
