    Description

Eagle Cook Book 1915 Cook Book Brooklyn NYC
This auction is for the Eagle Cook Book, Tested Recipes and Menus,
    Serial Number 190,
    July 1915.
    I
nside you will find recipes attributed to individuals as in a community cookbook,
    and
recipes that have no names or initials as in more common cookbooks.
This book is interspersed with frame worthy advertisements of national brands such as Hecker Flour
    and local
Brooklyn small businesses such as Blookers Cocoa and Homer Milk.
The Eagle Cook Book looks to be in rough shape as you might expect for a paper copy of 106 years old.
The front cover and back cover
are not attached but are present. There are tears and chipped pages
on the first several pages and the last several pages of the
    booklet. However, the pages inside
    are in great condition,
clean and crisp with no tears or creases, and they are fun to read or to display.
This cooking magazine was part of a series, which cost .50 for a year's subscription in 1915.
Taken apart, this booklet would also be wonderful if used for paper crafting, scrap booking, frame backgrounds, etc.
    Non smoking home.
