  • Condition: Most volumes are Very Good, VG minus with Vol 9 having some small "whitish" dots to cover, a bit rubbed (more so than any of the others) but all are are bright, clean. Corners minimally bumped on 4,5 volumes, -- NOT all corners, 1, 2 per volumes affected. Volume 5 has a short tear (1/3" at top volume, near spine). Interiors are bright and clean. A WONDERFUL LANDMARK SET.

    Henry Kaiser (a covered wagon baby), Samuel Brannan JR. -- son of Sr. who was California's first millionaire.  Over 55 original signatures.  Each volume (separately title with evocative volumes such as PATHFINDERS, SPANISH ARCADIA, THE GREAT TREK, GOLD DAYS and OUTDOOR HERITAGE is NUMBER 241 of the 387 SPECIALLY BOUND/SIGNED EDITION.  EACH volume is #241
    "specially bound for for Agnes Girard Klamp, Granddaugher of William S. Oury"
    (who was Tucson, AZ's first mayor).
