This work is a work of traditional handicrafts person ceramist Toshiyuki Suzuki of Daisen ware.
Mr. Suzuki is the famous ceramist who studied under *3rdSuwa Sozan and established the Discoloration-of-ceramic-ware phenomenon basic theory of iron glaze in 1989.
He is specified as traditional handicrafts person (tradition skill holder) of the Tottori specification.
Mr. Suzuki is the specialist of glaze who is studying iron glaze, temmoku glaze, and blue porcelain glaze.
This work is "DAISEN-YAKI TAMA-HAGANE-YHO YO-HEN CHAWAN (Daisen ware, pure steel glaze Discoloration-of-ceramic-ware Teabowl)."
* TAMA-HAGANE (A pure steel for making japanese blade).
It is the beautiful work in which the TAMA-HAGANE glaze which Toshiyuki Suzuki studied was used for this work.
The result which he has studied for years is condensed by the work.

Born in 1944.
1965: Study under SUWA OSAMU (the third generation
SUWA SOZAN/諏訪蘇山
).
1970: DAISEN-YAKI kiln was established.
1981: Build KUKO-GAMA (climbing kiln).
Research manufacture of a kiln of ancient China (KEN-YO) and TEMMOKU is continued.
1983: TAMA-HAGANE-YO TEMMOKU glaze is completed.
1989: The wood-fired in reduction phenomenon basic theory of iron glaze was established.
Other award histories and private exhibition information are omitted by a ceramist's hope.
Daisen ware :
The DAISEN ware origin that the 12 generation of Daisen temple ZEN-KU chief priest made pottery.
Daisen ware which continued after that had also been giving up one's business at the Taisho term.
Toshiyuki Suzuki revived this Daisen ware and kiln was opened in 1990.
Toshiyuki Suzuki is continuing making the original simplicity which Daisen ware has, and the work which wove in present age feeling still now.
The iron glaze which was also Toshiyuki Suzuki's research task is mainly used, and the metal color which shows various expression is making the work using a blue porcelain, oil spot, KIN-YO, and ash glaze centering on TAMA-HAGANE-YO TEMMOKU glaze of the feature.
