The battery has tabs on both ends for soldering to circuit board. Tab trimming (using a pair of scissors) is required in order to fit the circuit board inside the toothbrush handle. The package color might vary.
Technical Specifications: 1.2V, 1600 mAh for each cell; 2.4V, 1600 mAh for 2 cells in series. Each cell measures 28 mm in length and 17 mm in diameter. The original battery in Oral-B Sonic Complete toothbrush contains two cells in series (you can verify that by cutting the plastic wrapper off). This battery set in series matches the original set in physical dimensions.
There is NO need to solder the tabs in between the two cells as the batteries are spring-loaded.
The battery is soldered onto the circuit board in an electric toothbrush. Replacing battery requires soldering and toothbrush dis-assembly skills.
