The
Elinchrom Rotalux 59" Indirect Softbox
is a unique light shaping tool that offers the creative photographer several different qualities of light depending how the diffuser and included speed rings are employed. When configured like standard softboxes without the front diffuser, the Rotalux acts like a combination of a large reflector and a silver umbrella offering wide coverage and crisp rendition of details. Slip on the included front diffuser and the soft, wrap-around light quality that Octa-type softboxes are known for becomes evident.
The Rotalux's depth of 59" allows you to use the "indirect" speed ring to bounce the light into the back of the softbox for yet another degree of contrast. Finally, slip on the front diffuser for extremely, soft delicate light that will flatter any subject.
Central mounting ring allows Elinchrom compacts or flash heads to be mounted facing back into the softbox
Direct and indirect speed rings are included
The combination of the deep shape and the indirect reflecting strobe light offers a unique quality of light which is ideal for many applications such as beauty and fashion
