    Description

    Rare 1986 first limited edition printing of "They Showed the Way" An Exhibition of Black Texas Women 1836-1986.  Booklet that was printed by Museum of African-American Life and Culture.  Sponsored by Anheuser-Busch Companies.  Just under 8 1/2" x 11".   96 pages plus the covers.  No rips or missing pages.  About 6 dog ear pages, a few pages had paper clips and they did leave a stain.  Number 70 of 300 printed.  The has note paper from Hattie Briscoe who was the first Black Woman to graduate Law school in Texas as well as her name on the cover with address and phone numbers.  A very rare book.  Fantastic Black African American
