Beautiful Japanese Hand-Painted Imari Low Bowl, Goldimari

My husband and I purchased this beautiful bowl when we were on our honeymoon in New York City in 1981. We purchased it on 7th Avenue from an Asian importer. I had loved Imari, since I had lived in the orient in the 1970's, and fell in love with this design. We purchased several different pieces. This is the last one remaining.
This is a hand-painted Japanese Low Bowl, which is 9 3/4" X 2". It is beautifully painted in shades of cobalt blue, rusty red, and metallic gold. The outside rim of the bowl is banded in cobalt blue with gold bands above and below the blue band. There is an intricate design in gold in the blue band, as well. This is painted on a fine white porcelain body, with very graceful lines. This piece is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. There is a mark on the back for "Goldimari". I have used this beautiful bowl on a coffee table for years, but am ready to pass it on to the next owner.
