Here is another FIND from one of my over 500 boxes of books, ephemera and just stuff. It took 60+ years to accumulate these treasures, and each week, I retrieve a dozen or so boxes from my storage units and post some selected items on eBay.

Barnouw
begins with Marconi's work in wireless, and continues with "ham" operators' contributions, the revelations of WWI as to the possibilities of radio, and the
establishment
of radio broadcasting stations as both a business and entertainment.

Good condition with dust jacket. 344 pages with numerous illustrations. Dust jacket has some wear and a tear at the front fold. The book has an inscription on the front paste down, see Photo 10. The title text is embossed in gold on the cover and spine. Pages and photos appear clean except for occasional green underlining, see Photo 9.
