1. E3+ Transmitter can be used for wireless flash shooting, which is compatible with original Canon radio system and well worked with Canon 600EX-RT and 600EX II-RT, 430EXIII. It can control up to 5 groups(15units) of Canon speedlites that have a wireless multiple flash shooting function using radio transmission, as well as non-wireless Canon ETTL Speedlite by using E3+ receiver.Supports ETTL/ETTL II flash, Manual flash, Strobe flash, Group firing, Linked Shooting .
2. Equipped with AF assist light which is helpful in low light/contrast situation photography.Up to 5 groups, 15 individual flashes can be controlled via 1 transmitter at the same time

You can use it to control Canon 600EX-RT, 600EX II-RT and 430EXIII directly, ETTL/ETTL II flash, Manual flash, Strobe flash, Group firing, Linked Shooting are avaliable.
As for the original Canon old TTL flashes which don't have radio system built-in( Canon Speedlite 580EXII/ 580EX/ 550EX/ 430EXII/ 320EX/ 270EXII/ 270EX ), you can also use the E3+ Receiver to build a radio system for them.
E3+ receiver can also helps to build the communication between Nikon/Sony/Fujifilm/Pentax/OLYMPUS/Panasonic Flashes and E3+ transmitter, but it supports manual flash mode only in this case.
