    Description

    This is double terminated Amethyst crystal from the now-closed site in Moosup, Connecticut. These crystals were originally found a few years ago at a construction site in the village of Moosup. The site is now completely built over and is not accessible. Specimens from this locality are quite rare and highly collectible! They have been featured in Mineralogical Records "What's new in minerals"(vol.46) and "Mineral collections of the northeast" (July/August 2016) Some of the crystals have been found to have liquid filled enhydro inclusions. The dimensions of this crystal are 30x1422 mm. If  you purchase multiple pieces please allow me to invoice you with combined shipping before you pay.
