AMAZING VANADINITE CRYSTAL - 1.6 cm - NORTH GERONIMO MINE, ARIZONA
Specimen miners were collecting at this mine in 2005, previously known for great vanadinite specimens. Before the finds in Morocco, these were regarded as some of the finest vanadinite specimens in the world.
The specimen we offer is an excellent thumbnail specimen consisting of a single crystal with extreme hoppering. Hoppering is seen when the edges of a crystal grow faster than its center. The crystal displays the deep red color the mine is known for producing and excellent luster.
