    Description

    This A. A. Vantine Hand-Painted Plate is in Excellent condition.  There are no chips, cracks, or crazing.  It measures 9" X 10". It is beautifully hand-painted with pastel colors and  gold raised work.    The plate has some scalloped areas.  It has the crossed Imperial Chinese and Japanese flags with the Turkish Crescent moon and star in between, referring to Mr. Vantine's business relations with these three countries.  It was made sometime between 1920-1940.
