1994 ATLANTA BRAVES TEAM-SIGNED BASEBALL - RARE STRIKE YEAR - CHIPPER JONES PRE-ROOKIE
An Official National League baseball (William D. White, President) signed by the 1994 Atlanta Braves (28 signatures), including Greg Maddux (HOF, 16-6), Tom Glavine (HOF), John Smoltz (HOF), Chipper Jones (HOF, pre-rookie), Bobby Cox (HOF), Steve Avery, Dave Justice, Kent Mercker, Fred McGriff, Terry Pendleton, Javy Lopez, Steve Bedrosian, Mark Lemke, Ryan Klesko, Greg McMichael, Mark Wohlers, Mike Stanton, and more. Five Hall of Famers on one team. Beautiful ball.
The 1994 season was shortened by the player strike, and therefore team balls from that season are very rare. This ball is particularly historic, because it contains a pre-rookie signature of Hall of Famer Chipper Jones. He had suffered a torn ACL during 1994 Spring Training and missed the season, but he was with the team and signed this ball. The Braves would go on to win the World Series in 1995, and Chipper Jones would play in a total of 19 seasons, finishing with a career batting average of .303, 2,726 hits, 1,623 RBIs, and a slugging percentage of .529. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility in 2018 with 97.2% of the vote.
Authenticity guaranteed
