    Description

Yes, this is a cool vintage booklet produced by Stanley Tools Co, and aimed at young boys.  The booklet was first produced in 1966.  By 1969, Stanley realized they were incorrect by leaving out girls in the publication. So, in 1969 the booklet was revised.  In 1966, page 2 had a Forward that began with "This book is for the boy who likes to look at tools, and who enjoys watching or helping his father".  The 1969 page 2 revision reads, "This book is for every boy or girl who likes to look at tools, and who enjoys watching, or helping his father".  Stanley still flubbed up.  It should have also said, "or helping their father".  On page 3 of the 1966 copy, the single sentence reads, "Just about every boy in the world loves tools".  The 1969 version now reads, "Just about every child in the world loves tools".  I think somebody got fired back in 1966. In any case, this time capsule belongs in your collection!  It measures 11" x 8 1/2".  The 23 pages just takes you 'Back to the Future'.  Check all the photos.  Thank you.Be sure to check out my 'see other items' tab for lots more collectibles, fun stuff, and some surprises!
