    with engraved dedication frontispiece (incorporating the portraits of J.G. Heinecke (1681-1741) and H. Boehmer (1671-1749) and the interior of a library) and an engraved headpiece both by Sysang after G.H. Grundler.
    Edition published by Heinecke and Boehmer, dedicated to S. v. Cocceius, of this important dictionary of juridical terms.
    Original gilt vellum, both covers with central oval ornament of Minerva Dordracena surrounded by ornamental double borders with corner fleurons,  spine with 8 gilt compartments, one of which with morocco letterpiece, copper catches and hinges of clasps (lacking)
    Tight copy, good condition.  Some wear of binding (with discoloration of vellum at the upper part of back cover), toning, foxing.

    With letterpress school prize filled out in pen, awarded to Petrus Henricus van de Wall (Van Puttershoek, 1795-1853) by the Dordrecht Gymnasium, 1813, signed by the prefect Hendrik Onderwater (1747-1822) and by the rector H. Verbeek.
